The 19th annual Greater Victoria Bike to Work Week is a free, fun-filled community event.

Bike to Work Week is for everyone including experienced and novice cyclists, so why not strap on your helmet, get some exercise and enjoy some fresh air by participating in this annual event!

9:00am  First race begins! There will be lots of photo opportunities as the boats jockey for position between the breakwater and Brotchie Ledge.

Swiftsure Finish Line for long-course race is best viewed from the breakwater at Ogden Point.

Over 350 Musicians – Over 80 Performances – 13 Stages

The Victoria Jazz Society was founded in 1981 and produces two major multi-day music festivals every summer, TD Victoria International JazzFest and the Vancouver Island Blues Bash.

The TD Victoria International JazzFest (formerly known as JazzFest International) features over 350 musicians on stages in downtown Victoria with an attendance of over 35,000 people.  This event is a ten-day music festival featuring the jazz, blues and world music of local, Canadian, and internationally acclaimed musicians.

Since 1985, the TD JazzFest has been presented and produced by the Victoria Jazz Society and will celebrate it’s 29th anniversary in 2013.

Come and celebrate Victoria Day in B.C.’s capital with the 115th consecutive Island Farms Victoria Day Parade! This is Victoria’s largest parade event including marching bands, floats, clowns and more.

The whole parade will take at least 3 hours to pass by, so be sure to come prepared. The parade starts at Mayfair Mall at 9:00 am and will proceed along Douglas Street, finishing at the intersection of Douglas and Humboldt Street.  

This is a fun event for the whole family!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, a smash hit Broadway musical is coming to Victoria!

A classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Entering its 86th year, the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival has a long and popular history in Victoria. Victoria will celebrate the 3rd annual Tartan Day Victoria event on Saturday, April 6th, in recognition of ‘National Tartan Day’ which is celebrated officially throughout Canada.

Market Square will be decked out in full Tartan with Scottish Cultural booths, Tartan Weavers, Scottish Shortbread and Baking, Pipers, Dancers, a Highland dog breed display, Island Farms ‘Daisy the Cow’, Scottish entertainment and Celtic bands.
