Symphony Splash

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

symphony-splash-fireworksMake sure you visit the Inner Harbour on the night of Sunday August 1st, for our annual BC Day fireworks show and live concert called Symphony Splash

Victoria’s own Symphony Orchestra performs a two-hour concert on a floating stage in the inner harbour with other musical entertainment, souvenirs, and food.  The concert will include bells, cannons, and a fireworks display, and conclude with Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.  Victoria Symphony Splash is the largest annual outdoor symphony event in Canada, attracting over 40,000 people (both residents and visitors) to come and watch the spectacular show!  At 4:00 pm, The Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific will perform, and then at 7:30pm, Maestra Tania Miller and the Victoria Symphony will perform, starting with our National Anthem, “O, Canada.”

Come out and enjoy the show!
