Bring Dad to Victoria to celebrate Father’s Day! Stay at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites and take a stroll down to the festive Inner Harbour.

While you are here, take part in Harbour Day. Activities take place at Ships Point and Songhees Point and include dragon boat rides, kayak and canoe demonstrations, shanty singers, and sand castle demonstrations. Victoria Harbour Ferry is offering free rides to these two points or we can give you a lift in our courtesy van!

The Oak Bay Tea Party

Come out and enjoy the fun at the 51st annual Oak Bay Tea Party. For the first year ever, amusement rides will be set up on Friday, May 31st from 4pm – 9pm. Bring the kids! There are lots of rides to choose from (everything from the Kamikaze and the Sizzler to the Ferris Wheel and Bumper Cars).

Thursday, May 23, 2013 – Ship Point
2:00pm – 6:00pm  Swiftsure Centre opens for registration.
8:00pm – 11:00pm  Rock to “The Midnights” at the Swiftsure Centre.

Friday, May 24, 2013 – Ship Point
10:00am – 6:00pm  All boats will be arriving at the inner harbour - a great time for an evening dinner and a tour of the docks at sunset. 
8:00pm – 11:00 pm  Dance to “Mid Life Crisis” at the Swiftsure Centre.

Saturday, May 25, 2013 – Clover Point
8:50am  Race sequence starts.
9:00am  First race begins! There will be lots of photo opportunities as the boats jockey for position between the breakwater and Brotchie Ledge.

Sunday, May 26, 2013 – Daylight Hours
Swiftsure Finish Line for long-course race is best viewed from the breakwater at Ogden Point.

115th Island Farms Victoria Day Parade

Location: Douglas Street – Victoria, BC

Come and celebrate Victoria Day in B.C.’s capital with the 115th consecutive Island Farms Victoria Day Parade! This is Victoria’s largest parade event including marching bands, floats, clowns and more.

The whole parade will take at least 3 hours to pass by, so be sure to come prepared. The parade starts at Mayfair Mall at 9:00 am and will proceed along Douglas Street, finishing at the intersection of Douglas and Humboldt Street.  

This is a fun event for the whole family!
