The Tall Tree Music Festival brings together the attendees and artists to build sustainable and positive relationships with local residents and businesses of Port Renfrew. The festival celebrates community spirit, the environment, and artistic creativity with showcasing world-class musical and artistic talent in this unique and intimate environment.

v  An important fact to note is there are no gas stations between Sooke and Lake Cowichan. (So no gas station in Port Renfrew.) If you do not want to travel by vehicle Costal Sea Ventures is doing boat trips out to Port Renfew.

Painting Beneath the Summer Sky

The Lorax – Live Adaptation

Sponsored by the UVic Campus Community Garden and FUN Society (Friends Uniting for Nature) this performance will have you experience Dr. Seuss’ beloved tale in a whole new way! “The Lorax” will be performed by UVic students and community members and will engage children, youth and adults about environmental sustainability in a fun and entertaining way! The performance will be followed with the audience able to plant their own seeds to take home. Limited chairs will be available and seating is at first come first serve.

Van Isle 360

This biennial race is 580 nautical mile point-to-point race circumnavigating our wild and rugged Vancouver Island. Sailed in ten legs, the course provides inshore, offshore and overnight sailing through some of the most stunning and challenging waters on the planet.

The sailors will be leaving Ucuelet on June 17th on route to arrive in Victoria the evening. June 18th will be a layover for sailors before the final stretch back to Nanaimo on June 19th.

Car Free YYJ

DVBA is closing down Victoria’s busiest street to have three stages holding music, entertainment and talent throughout the event.
