Into the 2nd year this event has expanded to include three public tasting and one trade tasting over the span of two days. This event will feature over 350 wines from 100 international and local wineries. Informational sommeliers will be on the floor of the tastings to share their knowledge. Also available will be tapas and artisan coffee from local restaurants and vendors.

Every September the city of Victoria turns into one big concert stage for the Rifflandia Festival. With over 100 performances on 10 stages, all within walking distance of the city’s downtown core the downtown fills with musicians and music lovers alike. Every year they feature a line-up of acclaimed Canadian and International artists. This year Rifflandia is teaming up with BreakOut West to make this a do not miss event.

BreakOut West and the Western Canadian Music Awards are the primary events hosted by the Western Canadian Music Alliance (WCMA) – an organization created by the Music Industry Associations (MIA’s) of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, The Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territory – to promote and celebrate western Canadian music. Each year the event is held in a different western Canadian region on a rotation basis with this year being our year.
