With its boundless energy and guest for adventure, “Little Hinges” illuminates the two sides of the Bachands’ passionate grasp of Celtic music, the traditional and the more experimental, elevating the genre to new heights.

They have both proven to be quintessential to Canada’s contribution to the world stage, garnering a mantle-packing collection of awards and recognitions that thrust them to the top of the international Celtic music world. The siblings have steadfastly sought to find their own “voice”, exploring all kinds of musical traditions and fusing styles such as Old-time, Irish trad, Folk and Jazz to create a most distinctive sound. With Qristina’s shimmering vocals and inspirational fiddling and Quinn’s old-soul mastery of all things stringed, this brother and sister act clearly hit the mark.
