Adult hockey teams from Western Canada and the United States are gathering in Victoria from January 17 – 19, 2014 for the Canadian Adult Recreational Hockey Association (CARHA) Pacific Cup Tournament. This tournament is one of the largest and oldest recreational hockey tournaments in Canada and this year marks the 36th year in Victoria!

Lighted Truck Parade

Come and enjoy the annual Lighted Truck Parade! This event aims to light up the streets and the lives of those less fortunate with the Annual Lighted Truck Parade and Food Drive.

5:45PM Trucks leave the parking lot at Ogden Point. For safety reasons, access to this parking lot is restricted to parade participants only.

6:30PM Trucks arrive at Oak Bay Village

7:00PM Trucks arrive at Yates and Douglas Street

7:30PM Trucks arrive at Helmcken and Trans Canada overpass

8:00PM Trucks arrive at Goldstream and Veterans Memorial Parkway

8:30PM Trucks arrive at Western Speedway – SANTA ARRIVES BY TRUCK

The above timing in respect to the Truck Light Convoy is approximate and everyone is invited to gather at Western Speedway for the conclusion of the parade.
Admission to Western Speedway is by cash or non-perishable food items. Coffee, hot dogs and hot chocolate are available by donation.

Lighted Ship Parade

After the Lighted Truck Parade passes Victoria’s Inner Harbour (approximately 6:30pm), the Lighted Ship Parade will begin. Boats of all sizes will sail through Victoria’s Inner Harbour, decorated with bright magical Christmas lights.

This is an event for the whole family to enjoy, so come down to Victoria’s Inner Harbour and enjoy the Christmas season festivities!

The Island Farms Santa Light Parade routinely draws crowds of more than 40,000 to the streets of Victoria to take part in a festive celebration of the winter holidays. Bring the family to Victoria’s annual Christmas parade and enjoy the dazzling floats and marching bands that travel along the magically lit Government Street from Victoria’s Inner Harbour to Chatham Street. Meet up at the Capital Iron parking lot for delicious treats courtesy of Island Farms.
